In the app or on the website
In the WASL app: Settings → Security → Delete account, then enter your password to confirm. On the website: sign in at wasl.world and open Settings → Security → Delete account.
If you are the guardian of children's accounts, first delete them or hand them over to another guardian in the Family centre. A child's account can only be deleted by the guardian.
What is deleted and when
Your account is disabled immediately and hidden from everyone; after 30 days all of its data is permanently erased: profile, posts, comments, messages, photos, recorded recitations, “Ask the library” questions and your Quran and course progress.
Security records (such as sign-in attempts) may be kept for up to 24 months to protect the platform, without your account's content. You don't need to delete your account to delete part of your data: posts, photos and the “Ask the library” history can each be deleted where they are, and you can download a copy of your data under Settings → Security.
